Who Are We?
Liars Dice is a hard-hitting Adelaide rock outfit blending heavy riffs, modern metal energy, and hip-hop-influenced vocal delivery into a sound that’s sharp, aggressive, and unmistakably their own. Formed in 2022 by Josh (drums/producer) and Jacob (guitar), the project quickly grew into a fully-fledged five-piece with the addition of vocalist Zach C.R., bassist Vice, and guitarist Zak. What started as a simple writing experiment evolved into a band defined by raw honesty, thick grooves, and a signature red-and-black casino aesthetic that matches the grit of their music.
Known for their DIY ethic, Liars Dice record, produce, and mix all their music in-house, led by Josh — recipient of the Neville Clark Award for Outstanding Achievement in Audio Engineering. Their songwriting pulls from themes of burnout, anxiety, political frustration, and self-reflection, delivered with the intensity of heavy rock and the urgency of modern rap and metal. Since their first rehearsal-born debut “More Rhyme Than Reason,” the band has continued refining their sound through tracks like “Wake Up” and “Night Terrors,” each release pushing deeper into their identity: dark, relentless, and unapologetically real.
